The admissions are free and they are opened from Monday thru Friday from 10 AM to 7 PM, while on weekends they are opened from 10 AM to 5 PM. Chicago Water Tower: This Gothic and stylish water tower was built back in 1869. The legend says that this water tower was the only building left standing after a fire razed most of Chicago, yet many buildings on the southern and western areas received no damage. Currently, this building is being used to present the many local artists in Chicago, so you can go visit and enjoy the cultural marvel, as well as many arts being showcased. This beautiful water tower lays protected by its castle-like structure, which is seen as a symbol of how the city rose from the ashes after the fire. The Hull-House which is a national historic landmark was founded back in 1889 as a social settlement. Here the democracy was redefined to the one we know now in the present time. Jane Addams as well as residents of the Hull-House aided in passing legislation which incurred in public health, education, fair labor, free of speech and much other critical legislation, which are things that you can experience in this museum. You will find this museum opened from Tuesday to Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM and also on Saturdays from noon to 4 PM. The museum closes on some Holidays so be always sure to check before traveling!
